About me
I am an ex Head of English at a Surrey School and have worked in the state sector; Independent sector; as an e-learning teacher and with SEN students for a teaching career spanning over 25+ years. Additionally, I work for one of the most popular exam boards. I also have referrals from Surrey County Council to work with students who are out of school.
What can I offer?
I can offer 1:1 tutoring for Independent School entrance exams: 7+, 11+, 13+.
I can offer GCSE English Language and Literature preparation focussing on examination technique.
I have considerable experience with all GCSE exam boards and have been a GCSE examiner.
I can offer face to face sessions or online sessions.
I have SEN experience and have been working with ASD students for the last 3 years.
I am a trained dyslexia therapist.
Having taught at a British International School overseas I can offer support and guidance to UK students living or moving overseas or relocating back to the UK.
I have experience working with students out of school and can help support and try to reintegrate students back into learning.
